Who you are

A BS/BA degree in Marketing or a related field
Over 5 years of experience in B2B technical product marketing, preferably in tech or real-time communication platforms. Minimum 3 years experience marketing to developers (tools, platforms, etc.)
A track record of developing marketing strategies that resonate with both technical and business audiences
Strong analytical skills, capable of leading data-driven marketing decisions
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams

What the job involves

As our Product Marketing Manager, you are the architect of our product market strategy, focusing on our advanced real-time development platform and our app optimization offering called PubNub Illuminate.
You will drive go-to-market research for our products across multiple industries, and create the product marketing strategies that align tightly with our vision to create an interconnected world and our mission to revolutionize real-time experiences
Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies that reflect our commitment to customer loyalty, showcasing our compelling products and exceptional experiences
Drive innovation by constantly seeking better, more efficient, and elegant solutions in product marketing
Execute with a bias for action, turning ideas into impactful results that speak directly to developers and business buyers
Lead and collaborate across teams, ensuring our brand narrative and product messaging celebrates excellence and the art of the possible
Maintain a positive outlook, highlighting how our products solve problems and create a better-connected world
Foster an environment of open communication, ensuring all marketing efforts are well-documented and insights are effectively shared and utilized

Despite the hyper-connected world of today, developers struggle to build fully connected applications due to the reliance of servers. Servers result in low-latency communication, a problem that seems both archaic and totally approachable.

PubNub provides a real-time network IaaS for companies and users to send and manage data between the internet-of-things. The company provides API tools for secure and low-latency communication within digital events, bidirectional monitoring, and connectivity between applications.

Boasting over 800 million device connections a month, plus a host of valuable use cases, PubNub appears to have well and truly landed in the space. It is well funded, and has been focussed on both geographical expansion and enhancing the functionality of its platform - for example with the addition of React native chat UI components to its product portfolio.
