What the job involves

Maintain and improve UW’s portfolio of user facing applications
Work with UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Ensure high quality UI standards and brand consistency across applications
Advocate for great user experience
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
