Role
Who you are
- You are an accounting expert who is looking to make an impact at a growing company
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field is required
- CPA and prior audit experience is given strong consideration
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role
- SAP Software experience required
- Public company experience is preferred
- Must have experience in managing Fixed Assets, transactional taxation and SOX compliance
What the job involves
- In this role as a Senior GL Accountant, you'll be responsible for timely and accurate recording of daily transactions, filing of transactional taxes, reconciliations and any task related to monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
- Prepare and document journal entries and reconciliations relating to balance sheet accounts
- Work with other departments to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accruals
- Work closely with international teams for monthly financial reporting and consolidations
- Perform quarterly financial statement flux analysis
- Prepare account reconciliations for assigned areas in a timely manner
- Maintain the fixed assets subledger for company
- Liaise with internal and external audit for mid-year and year-end audit support
- Perform other related accounting duties as assigned
