Role
Who you are
- Have extensive experience in the security industry with a deep understanding of security operations and incident response processes
- Be able to design and implement complex and scalable SOAR solutions and workflows
- Be familiar with version control systems, such as git
- Integrate IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, Firewall, Email, and Cloud security solutions with a SOAR platform
- Have programming experience in Python, Powershell, Bash or Go
- Understand behavioral based threat models, including ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
- Perform or support threat intelligence analysis operations and workflows
- Problem solve, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills to interact with cross functional teams and other stakeholders

- As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping security teams automate and streamline their incident response processes, enabling them to respond more quickly and effectively to security events and incidents
- You’ll be a key player in transforming the way security teams handle incidents. In this fast-paced environment, you will be instrumental in spearheading innovative solutions, driving major architectural and service decisions
- You'll get to develop and maintain crucial integrations, design and implement security automation solutions, and troubleshoot complex SOAR-related issues
- By collaborating with cross-functional teams and keeping up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, you'll help ensure our SOAR platform stays optimized and effective
- Your expertise in security operations, incident response processes, and programming will be vital in this high-impact role
- Harness the flexibility of remote work while being a crucial player in automating incident responses, shaping the future of security operations, and championing streamlined processes
- Develop and maintain integrations between SOAR and other security tools and technologies, such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence feeds
- Design and implement security automation solutions to streamline security processes and workflows
- Collaborate with security analysts and responders to identify areas for process improvement and automation
- Build custom scripts and automation workflows using Python, Bash or Powershell to facilitate the security incident response process
- Troubleshoot issues with SOAR solutions and work with cross functional teams including Secops, EDR, Firewall, XDR, and VM to resolve any issues or bugs
- Design and implement custom playbooks to automate incident response processes
- Participate in the testing and release of new features and updates to the SOAR platform
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and incorporate this knowledge into the SOAR platform
- Create documentation and training materials to help users understand and effectively use security automation solutions
- Conduct regular assessments of SOAR solutions to ensure that they are fully optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Support intelligence collection operations through tech enablement
