Role
Who you are
- The Ideal Candidate will be a subject matter expert with an accounting and finance background who is looking to be a leader of their career as they become the foundation of a new team while joining a global, multi-product, multi-market SaaS company
- 2+ years experience as an Audit Associate/Senior Associate at a Big Four firm
- 4+ years Accounting/Finance experience
- 1+ years Month-end close experience
- Experience working with C-Level executives at 100-500 person companies
- Ability to function in a “Player/Coach” capacity
- CPA, MAcc, or MBA
What the job involves
- Navan is looking for a Mid-Market Solutions Architect to join our hyper-growth, global revenue team
- This individual can choose to sit in our New York OR Austin office!
- As an Mid-Market Solutions Architect, you will be a key player in helping Account Executives sell the Navan Expense product offerings to net new and existing customers within the our diverse market segment by combining your expertise of accounting and finance with your knowledge of our expense management platform
- By understanding client needs and leveraging your knowledge, you will help assist with an effective strategy that will ultimately drive revenue
- Develop a strong understanding and the value proposition of our expense management platform, Navan Expense
- Develop industry knowledge within Travel and Expense Management to best leverage our product and its features as you help clients better understand the benefits of our product, ultimately supporting B2B clients and driving revenue
- Internally, train and up-level the Mid-Market Account Executive Organization about the value proposition and product capabilities of Navan Expense
- In addition to working with sales and customer success, partner cross-functionally with sales enablement, product, and implementation teams to drive product feedback
- Provide support to prospective clients during the sales cycle through presenting our products and their features that are best tailored to the clients’ needs as a payment and expense solution to their business and employees
- Seek career growth and opportunity to be a part of a growing division of our organization as Navan Expense saw 10x revenue growth in the last fiscal year

Navan (formerly known as TripActions) is operating in a crowded marketplace, betting against rivals with similar offerings of user interface personalisation technology. Even so, the company's growth has skyrocketed and it has attracted significant investor interest. Competitors cannot match Navan's cutting-edge, AI-driven services, as well as 24-hour customer support.
Since its founding in 2015 the company has seen significant growth in transactions and in active users. Having expanded from its core travel expense management product, it now offers a corporate card and general expenses management, underwriting its customers' short term business expenses with its own Liquid financial offering. Navan has a list of impressive clients, including Glassdoor, Zoom, and Shopify.
Moving forwards, the company is focused on gaining more reach, especially in Europe. As part of the expanded go-to-market strategy, it rebranded to Navan with a more people-centric design approach. It also combined its travel, corporate card and expense services into a single app which is now available to individual users rather than only through a corporate account. This will be key in bridging the gap between business travel and consumer apps.
