- 12+ years of experience in product management related roles in a high-growth and complex environment
- 5+ years of experience hiring, managing, growing, and leading high-performing teams
- Experience and passion for scaling B2B SaaS platforms that have grown their customer base from SMB to Enterprise
- A strong track record of setting product vision and business strategy for complex product areas and platforms tied to company-level goals and metrics
- Proven ability to coach and develop PMs, helping them translate high-level strategy into actionable team roadmaps

What the job involves
- Vanta is moving upmarket fast. As the Senior Director of Product, Platform, you’ll lead the teams that make that possible, building the foundations that power every product experience
- The Platform organization enables Vanta to scale confidently with our largest customers by delivering the systems and infrastructure that support reliability, extensibility, and speed across the company
- You’ll define and deliver the strategy for the core capabilities that underpin all of Vanta’s products, including identity and permissions, enterprise security, billing, collaboration, infrastructure, developer experience, and design systems
- You’ll partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver platform primitives that make it faster, safer, and more consistent for every team at Vanta to build
- You’ll also help shape how we operate as a product org, growing a talented team of PMs, setting high standards for execution, and driving clarity and alignment across functions
- Lead and grow a team of Product Managers to define and deliver Vanta’s platform capabilities and experiences that scale with our rapidly growing customer base
- Set the strategy and roadmap for Vanta’s platform, including identity and admin, collaboration, billing, infrastructure, developer tools, and design systems
- Partner closely with engineering and design leadership to ensure reliability, performance, and consistency across every product surface
- Drive measurable improvements in time-to-value, activation, and retention in collaboration with our go-to-market teams
- Be the DRI for several key business metrics, including:
- Scalability and performance of Vanta for our largest customers
- Enterprise security and admin experiences, including identity, permissions, and billing
- Collaboration experiences across all Vanta products — notifications, comments, tasks, and more
- Developer velocity and design quality, by investing in core infrastructure, tooling, and systemized design

The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for startups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with startups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
Vanta's latest $150M raise, boosting its valuation to $4.15B, highlights the company's rapid growth and strong market position.
