Role
Who you are
- Experience with building and leading a team of designers
- Proven experience in a senior design role, with a portfolio showcasing complex projects and solutions
- Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma), front-end technologies, and UX research methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for rallying teams around a design vision
- Experience with data-intensive or ML products (ideally, SaaS)
- Track record of success in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus
- Leader: you have a point of view on how design works within a startup and with other functions, and are able to collaborate with others while advocating for your team
- Problem solver: you recognize patterns, synthesize information and come up with creative, simple, and practical solutions
- Empathetic: you focus on user needs and work to help them achieve their goals as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Structured and organized: you can structure a plan, align stakeholders, and see it through to execution
- Tinkerer: you regularly explore and learn new technologies and methods
- Clear communicator: you are able to express yourself clearly and persuasively, both in writing and speech
What the job involves
- Our Product team is growing and we’re looking to bring on a highly talented Head of Product Design!
- You’ll manage both the big-picture vision and the day-to-day challenges of building a complex, data-intensive user-facing product and, to accomplish this, a strong and effective design team
- Establish the guiding principles, quality processes, and working cadence that will shape the product’s design and design team
- Manage and coach individual designers and build the team as we scale
- Lead the end-to-end design process for OfferFit products, from initial wireframing to the creation of pixel-perfect high-fidelity prototypes
- Proactively identify UX challenges and opportunities through a deep understanding of product vision and requirements
- Conduct user experience research using qualitative and quantitative approaches
- Understand complex product workflows, distilling them into intuitive navigation flows, consistent component behavior, and a unified style
- Influence and contribute to OfferFit's product strategy and roadmap, ensuring UX considerations are at the forefront
