Role
Who you are
- Experience in a related field and/or 10+ years of industry experience
- Background in or working closely with financial services and a strong network within the space
- Technical background working with product and engineering teams
- Proven success with negotiating agreements, driving revenue via co-sell programs, and monitoring performance
- Experience working with virtual, matrixed teams
- Demonstrated experience working with senior-level executives
- Strong communication skills and strategic thinking
What the job involves
- As the Head of Cloud and Banking Partnerships at Sardine, you’ll report directly to our Head of Partnerships
- In this role, you will be responsible for building and enabling strategic partnerships that serve as the foundation for our growth
- This role will lead our key partnerships with hyperscalers, system integrators, and banking/cores
- You’ll lead the process of setting Sardine up with relevant partners, project managing integrations internally while engaging both technical and business stakeholders with confidence
- Beyond partnership execution, you’ll own and nurture partner relationships, ensuring Sardine has a strategic seat at the table with executives and is positioned as the premier fraud and compliance platform
- Some example current and target partners: GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, PWC
- This is a high-impact role that will drive substantial revenue over time and become one of the largest channels for Sardine
- You will also work closely with the Sardine founders, CFO, VP of Sales, and other leadership team and play a key role in taking Sardine to the next level
- Own all Cloud and Banking partnerships end-to-end, driving strategy, execution, and revenue generation across these channels
- Build out and grow our consulting channel to expand Sardine’s reach and accelerate adoption
- Collaborate closely with Sardine’s leadership team to align partnership strategy with company-wide goals and priorities
- Develop and execute GTM strategy with major technical partners, including co-selling motions, enablement programs, and joint business plans
- Drive strategic planning and execution of joint marketing and sales initiatives, including major customer engagements
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across cloud partners
- Own forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets for the partnership
- Have a product mindset, whereby this role also includes collaborating with internal technical teams to ensure end-to-end execution and readiness of Sardine on partners’ platforms

Sardine's technology traces intrinsic behaviour patterns to identify so-called "bad actors" online, and detects fraudsters using machine-learned fraud scores and user behavior biometrics.
The company calls itself the world's first FaaS (Fraud Detection as a Service), and its solutions are already drawing business from next-gen crypto and financial service institutions. Onboarding these institutions and scaling its customer base at pace will ensure that Sardine maintains its frontrunner position.
