Role
Who you are
- If you are a very strong JavaScript backend developer looking for new and hard backend challenges, you will want to hear more about this role. We are looking for a top Engineer who wants to drive and implement complex technical solutions in the Alerting and Reporting Engines area
- 7+ years of backend design & development experience
- Seasoned and confident engineer with JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js
- Experience with platform and SaaS engineering
- Excellent understanding of distributed systems
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience
- Ability to work with a worldwide team in a distributed work environment
- Passionate about JavaScript or web development in general
What the job involves
- You will contribute to the development of our hosted and on-premise offerings
- You'll be part of a close-knit team of phenomenal engineers who mentor, support, and challenge each other
- You will implement technical solutions that underpin Kibana Alerting and Reporting success and the Observability and Security solutions, while collaborating with other Operations, Engineering, and Documentation teams
- Assist in delivering and supporting a highly scalable cloud offering
- Work on a codebase that consists primarily of APIs and server-side frameworks
