Who you are
- If you’re a proactive problem-solver with a knack for strategic account management and a passion for client success, we’d love to meet you!
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of professional experience, with 4+ years of Enterprise SaaS Customer Success experience
- Demonstrated success managing top strategic accounts within Fortune 100 accounts
- Strong understanding of the client lifecycle, ability to navigate complex organizations and interact with both Executives and end users
- Knowledge of the legal pricing, law firm RFP process, and/or corporate legal departments is a bonus
- You’re both a strong writer and public speaker, and are great at communicating complex messages in simple ways
- You strive for excellence and have a track record of overperformance to match
- You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% to client meetings, conferences and events, and internal meetings
What the job involves
- As a Customer Success Manager at PERSUIT, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with our most strategic clients
- You’ll act as a trusted advisor to corporate law departments, guiding them through best practices in RFP and Alternative Fee Arrangement (AFA) strategies while ensuring they derive maximum value from our platform
- Your expertise will empower clients to fully leverage PERSUIT’s offerings through strategic consultation, training, and technical support
- You’ll build and manage client relationships, collaborate cross-functionally to implement new initiatives, and enhance client success with impactful training materials and onboarding experiences
- Managing a small book of business with our most strategic clients
- Leading client training and providing strategic consultation to corporate law department leaders around best practice RFP and AFA strategies
- Ensuring users are fully utilizing our platform to drive customer value
- Providing technical support to our clients and partner law firms
- Creating, updating and maintaining online training materials
- Assisting with new client onboarding- set up new PERSUITers for success
- Collaborating across teams, providing strategic direction and input
- Implementing new strategic initiatives, driving our clients’ success

Enterprises must frequently seek outside counsel programs for their legal needs, and this presents financial inefficiencies. Legal spending tends to be significantly more expensive due to financial guesswork, and despite these high costs, outside counsel programs often do not represent the legal partnership that the enterprise was initially seeking.
Persuit provides a tech-first marketplace for outside counsel firms, helping enterprises to be matched with appropriate legal partners. In addition to legal matching, the marketplace also facilitates transparent and predictable costs due to its data-driven approach and ability to provide alternative fee arrangements, as well as integrating diversity, equality & inclusion goals, resulting in better matches between customers and their legal counsel.
Having solved a problem that many inhouse legal departments have struggled with for years, Persuit has garnered a healthy customer base including major enterprises such as Meta, Target and Gilead. Going forward it is aiming to further scale its operations, hiring talent across all areas of the business as it cements its market leading position in this space.
