What the job involves
- Chargebee is looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to take our Sales team to the next level
- Research and identify high-potential leads, convert opportunities, and connect with customers large and small predominantly over the phone and supported via email
- Own and build a sales pipeline by working collaboratively with Account Executives and Sales leadership
- You will benefit from weekly training sessions but also bring your own creative ideas to help evolve the role of the Business Development team at Chargebee
- Role offers a 4-week Onboarding-cum-Sales Training to give you the chance to excel in your role and future opportunities
- You'll sell cutting edge technology to C-suite
- Have the opportunity to grow into other sales roles
- Qualify and nurture new leads into revenue through well planned and executed efforts
- Prioritize and organize day-to-day activities to ensure all sales quota and management objectives are met
- Manage and track leads via CRM/SalesLoft while maintaining accurate and up to date records
- Achieve monthly quotas + daily KPI’s
- You'll be applying automation & AI to create & scale highly impactful content & mult touch strategies that deliver meetings & opportunities
- Operating at scale by consistently mapping 5-10 new accounts every day & adding 5-10 new stakeholders for each account to get to 60+ daily new business call & 170+ daily new business emails
- Collaborating with your AEs and with marketing and proactively leveraging internal synergies like the marketing calendar, finding & replicating outbound messages & strategies that deliver results & learning from the best BDRs & AE

However, the careful growth strategy it has adopted, in which it expanded from an SaaS focus to the eCommerce market, means it serves two sectors enjoying remarkable growth and hence has been able to grow impressively itself.
With a track record of careful expansion and a strong and simple product proposition, Chargebee is positioned well to maintain the industry leadership it has achieved. In addition, with more and more companies adopting the subscription model for their products, there is no doubt room for further growth in the future.
