Who you are
- Excellent understanding of service management of technology services and products
- Broad technical knowledge to enable input into both ongoing delivery and service strategy, knowledge of AI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills from engineer to CTO, and across other functions
- Highly credible and able to quickly gain confidence and respect of colleagues and clients
- Show initiative and motivation in the continual improvement of customer service
- Able to work productively and efficiently under pressure
- Extensive commercial experience of the delivery of technology services and products in an enterprise setting
- Sound commercial background in technology organisations
- Project management experience
- Developing knowledge of several emerging technologies
- Current and maintained understanding of competitive commercial landscape
- Developed experience of stakeholder management, ensuring high levels of customer experience
- Technical background within either the development or service lifecycles
What the job involves
- The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery and day-to-day management of core AI projects across a client organisation
- As our first SDM you will play a vital role in defining excellence and best practices in the role, ensuring we are creating long-term healthy Deeper Insights-client relationships by ensuring that the client perspective is represented within Deeper Insights and the Deeper Insights perspective within the client
- The SDM is the main point of contact for the client in terms of escalation, reporting, and service improvement/strategy
- In addition, the SDM will have sight of pre-sales opportunities within the client organisation, engaging internal specialist resources as required
- Set up SDM best practices and documentation
- Ensure the SDM processes are scalable and adaptable
- Diligent overseeing of day-to-day delivery across all services ensuring quality and effectiveness
- Provision of advice and assistance to the client as requested whether in terms of service management or technical options
- Ensure service delivery processes are effective, efficient and do not compromise Deeper Insights internal operational process
- Ensure the Deeper Insights ethos of professionalism with flexibility and the breadth of our services is visible and understood within the client
- Build a long-term trusted relationship across the client organisation
- Understand the client business domain and market
- Understand AI services and technologies as they relate to a client and the project team
- Ownership of SLA’s – setting achievable service levels, updates, addition of new services, managing scope changes
- Identification, communication and tracking of service improvement or efficiency tasks either within the service operational team or wider Deeper Insights delivery team
- Identification and communication of opportunities for either service extension or new services
- Ensure client satisfaction is high for both Deeper Insights as a supplier and the delivery of services
- Communication to Deeper Insights senior management of any client satisfaction issues
- Ensure services maintain agreed profitability margins and adherence to applicable Deeper Insights delivery standards and processes
- Have sufficient frequent contact with the client, either in person or remotely, as required to fulfill all other responsibilities
