Full Stack Developer, Octanise

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer, with solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies
• Experience working in small teams and a desire to take full ownership of the product lifecycle
• Familiarity with the energy management industry or experience in related fields is a big plus
• Proficiency in modern web and mobile frameworks and languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python)
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, maintainable code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously

• We are seeking a proactive Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of development sprints, including planning, coding, testing, and releasing features. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, taking full ownership of each stage of the product lifecycle. As part of a small and collaborative team, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the core systems that power our building management and optimisation platform, while also taking on an exciting opportunity to own the development of a new energy monitoring and optimisation tool
• Participate in sprint execution, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality features on schedule
• Take ownership across the full product lifecycle, including development, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance
• Work closely with other team members to scope and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient and successful completion of projects
• Build new and innovative features, with scope for contributing to an energy monitoring and optimization system in the future
• Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation
