Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic problem-solving role; prior experience in an early-stage startup environment, management consulting or investment banking
- A strong ability to break down unstructured problems into their component parts, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them
- A combination of a high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering operational initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from complex data
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join our Product team
- As the Chief of Staff, you will report directly and be a trusted adviser to the Chief Product & Data Officer
- You will develop and manage operational workflows such as quarterly and annual planning, board meeting preparation, and commercial requests from the Revenue organization, and will pursue one-off research projects as IC PM support to the Chief Product & Data Officer
- You will analyze and identify where there are opportunities for improvement in the product process and ensure compliance across the organization with R&D rituals
- You will champion initiatives to strengthen relationships between product and other departments
- Execute strategic projects across the product organization; dive deep into areas of high priority
- Develop and industrialize operational processes in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Support the Product organization’s strategic operating rhythm, including managing commercial requests, data governance, ensuring compliance with R&D rituals, and driving our annual/quarterly planning processes
- Champion initiatives to strengthen relationships between product and other departments
- Work directly with the CPO on high-visibility initiatives

Garner Health creates digital services that allow patients to find a medical expert that fits their specific needs, whatever their insurance circumstances are.
The startup provides an app that analyses local health-insurance claims history through AI. This data is used to recommend local medical professionals that will work with a patient's circumstances whilst providing direct communication channels for liaising. This helps patients to identify the highest-quality doctors and helps doctors improve how they practice medicine.
Despite other companies providing similar bespoke healthcare services, Garner Health shows a cutting edge by partnering with patient employers. This provides the financial incentive that employers must cover all or a portion of medical expenses, making healthcare financially accessible for all involved. The company has good funding at its back, and back in 2022 partnered with Marathon Health towards reducing the inefficiencies of specialty referrals.
