Role
Who you are
- Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, test-driven development, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment
- Experience with UNIX environments (Linux, Mac)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Systems or Computer Engineering advanced studies or degree
- Able to work full time from any of the time zones in the United States
- Must have a passion for learning new technologies
- This position is remote; you will be expected to be a self-starter, able to manage time on projects and provide detailed activity and performance of daily work results
- Be adaptable and flexible to change as the organization grows as products and projects will change
- Participation in team meetings is strongly encouraged
- Use sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Be able to solve complex issues, and problems, and solve things on your own
- Must have valid US identification
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to successfully pass a background screen check
- Technologies that you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in:

What the job involves
- Design and build web applications and products for a fast-growing start-up
- Building services with APIs connected to a variety of databases, message queues, and third-party services
- Improve the quality of code with tests, code quality tools, and code reviews
- Build and deploy your software with automation tools to cloud or dedicated servers
- Participate in stand-ups, sprint plannings, retrospectives, and demos with co-workers and clients
- Attend tech meetups, conferences and writing blog posts
- Gather requirements and suggest how to best answer the company needs

Marketing teams are looking for new ways of collecting data thanks to tightening restrictions on third-party gathering. DrivenIQ has developed a complex service to help companies stay one step ahead.
DrivenIQ’s tech combines buyer personas, behavioral data, and geolocational data to help companies micro-target audiences near the point of purchase, like households and businesses. It principally helps businesses boost their Google product sales rankings by tackling local see what’s in store (SWIS) searches, helping multi-location businesses get a leg-up on key sellers like Amazon. DrivenIQ’s key industry focus, thanks to the CEO’s extensive experience in the automotive industry, is principally on car sales.
In this, it will face stiff competition. Online car marketplaces for both used and new vehicles are skyrocketing in popularity, with major market players emerging in DrivenIQ’s home US turf. It means many dealerships and sellers are turning to these major platforms as key marketing and sales funnels, potentially seeing stronger ROIs than what DrivenIQ’s relatively modest reach could offer. DrivenIQ is expanding its offering with a new consumer data platform to maximize ad spend. This, along with an ongoing focus on product development, may help draw more clients from its rivals.
