Who you are

  • 5+ years Sales experience, with at least 3 years of payments experience
  • Demonstrated the ability to negotiate complex deals for net new business

What the job involves

  • Checkout.com are actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team in London to drive rapid growth across all verticals focussing on enterprise businesses
  • If you are a highly motivated salesperson with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of selling cutting edge payment solutions in a high-growth environment, we are keen to hear from you
  • You will generate net new business, orchestrating the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders
  • Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with various in-house teams across Technology and Product to position our capabilities, products, services and solutions effectively with prospects
  • Identify the most promising merchants and prospects and grow a healthy pipeline across various verticals
  • Sell our new cross-borders payment solutions and services to eCommerce merchants through outbound techniques
  • Help new merchants evaluate Checkout.com and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities, serving as a consultant and industry expert
  • Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants
  • Partner with other Sales team members to share best practices, key business insights and industry trends
  • Provide feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product and marketing information
