Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or partner marketing
- Proven track record in coordinating events and sponsorships, ideally within a fast-paced B2D/B2B startup environment
- Eager to learn about new products, technical jargon and apply them to your field
- 2+ years’ experience in a startup SaaS space
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Superior written and oral communication capabilities
- Self-driven with a knack for problem-solving on the fly
- Hands-on experience organizing hosted field events, sponsored events, and webinars
- Proficiency with email marketing and event platforms, like Hubspot, SalesLoft and Streamyard
- Ability to travel up to 40% for events globally
What the job involves
- As our Field and Event Marketing Manager, you will orchestrate various marketing initiatives, from webinars to sponsored events to partner sponsorships, driving our brand presence and expanding our reach
- End-to-End Event Management: Take full ownership of regional marketing events, from concept to completion. Whether it's a virtual workshop or a major conference sponsorship, ensure each event showcases Stream's solutions with impeccable execution and strong brand alignment. Attend global events in person to ensure execution
- Tactical Campaigns: Build specialized campaigns, like trade shows and community events, specifically tailored to attract enterprise-level attention. Prioritize showcasing Stream's capabilities and solutions on these platforms
- Field Event Expansion: Lead the initiative to build out an impactful series of field events. Work hand-in-hand with sales and product teams to ensure these events resonate with enterprise needs, facilitating a stronger connection between Stream and potential enterprise clients
- Comprehensive Campaign Planning: Direct all facets of campaign planning, from budget allocation to content creation. Ensure post-event analysis is conducted to measure impact, particularly in engaging enterprise-level clients, and make necessary adjustments for future endeavors
- Sponsorships: Work with our engineering and developer marketing teams to identify and execute on opportunities across various digital channels including newsletters, podcasts, YouTube creators, meetups, and conferences
- Reporting: Partner with our operations team to continually evaluate, track and adjust sponsorship channels based on the ROI from each initiative
- Collaboration with Content Team: Partner with the content team to design a world-class event program. This involves curating compelling content, identifying relevant speakers, and ensuring that each event showcases Stream’s value proposition for the enterprise sector
Our take
Every day, people all over the world communicate via in-app chats. However, chat and UX tools can take months to build and years to perfect. Stream solves this problem by allowing developers to build chat and activity streams into apps quickly and without hassle.
Having started out building APIs for activity feeds, Stream quickly moved into the lucrative chat market. Its customers now include household names such as Unilever, NBC Sports and TaskRabbit. Stream has seen funding from both big-name firms and startup CEOs - a clear indication of the company's broad appeal.
The company has lately been focussed on further developing its in-house technology, in order to fuel its continued growth in the coming years. It continues to enrich its Activity Feed, Chat SDK and AI-based Moderation products, as well as developing Live Video capabilities, which it states clients have been interested in for some time.
