Who you are
- 1-5+ years experience in an external-facing role, with a track record of success in strategic partnerships, channel partnerships, deal partnerships and/or a customer-facing role (and experience with inbound engagement)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

What the job involves
- In this role, you'll directly work with our CEO to engage with existing partners, and find new partners for doola
- This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help launch our customers, our company, and your career
- Nurture and grow pipeline of deal and channel partners; this will include inbound partnership request we receive (we get these on the daily) and rolling up your sleeves and reaching out to potential partners globally
- Directly engage with potential partners and own the partner deal cycle from end to end. We solve a hair on fire problem for our partners (they need a trusted partner to launch, maintain, and grow their customers' businesses) and need what we’re building, but sometimes, they need to chat with a human before partnering with us. Building lasting relationships here is kye
- Develop outbound tools to generate partners and resolve prospect questions before they need to ask
- Work incredibly cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales and marketing. The entire team is at your disposal to land the most valuable partners we can to spread doola's tentacles all over the globe
- Be the voice of the company when it comes to announcing and sharing partnerships across multiple platforms (chat, email, social media, etc.) The partnerships megaphone is in your hands
- Delight partners from the start - there's not a problem you can't solve and an expectation you can't exceed
- Be the voice of partners in internal meetings to drive product development and highlight success stories for content development
- Document and analyze your interactions to help us learn from our partners and make the most of our service
- Additional projects as they arise, in line with how you are looking to grow in your career!
- Forecasting, planning, and strategy to ensure that we can grow our partnerships channel and have it be a significant source of growth for the company
Our take
Lots of people have great ideas, but the skills needed as an entrepreneur don't necessarily include the time-consuming and difficult work of business administration. Doola is a "business in a box" service, aiming to provide everything a startup needs to launch as a limited liability company in the US, including a bank account, tax support, and access to US payments.
Doola is aimed squarely at smaller-scale businesses and the creator economy, which is a smart move given the rapid proliferation of small-scale startups in recent years. This is partly driven by the US Census project to generate millions of new business applications and by the rise of monetized content platforms like Twitch and Youtube. So far, doola has been used to launch thousands of companies from 130 different countries, and the company is experiencing 7x year-on-year growth.
Between 2022 and 2024, doola closed funding rounds amounting to $9 million, which are being used to hire new talent in product, engineering, and R&D, and extend its marketing reach. In the longer term, the company is aiming to provide a payments solution, utilizing the extensive data it has gathered on startup operations to offer financial services that will supplement its core product.
