Who you are

Financial services or fintech experience required
General understanding of UK VAT and payroll taxes preferred
Knowledge of Xero and NetSuite preferred but not essential
A self-starter who would need minimum guidance and is able to solve problems
Willing to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
Desire to constantly introduce efficiencies and quality within key Finance areas
A good knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Office and Google Suite
New or part qualified accountant with one of the main professional bodies (i.e. ACCA, CIMA etc.)

What the job involves

Ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of month-end balances
Performing reconciliations and preparing accounting entries
Maintaining the general ledger accounts in the accounting system
Overseeing the accounts payable process
Performing vendor payment runs and bank reconciliations
Overseeing compliance with all tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
Overseeing liquidity, cash and foreign currency positions
Meeting both individual and finance team objectives
Ad hoc requests required by the Group Financial Controller or CFO

That being said, standing out from the busy crowd of companies offering services relating to crypto will be difficult - as the market becomes more mainstream, more players will want a share. However, Ramp's major funding and recent on-ramp expansion may enable it to secure a big enough market share to strongly shut out its competition.
