Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar
- 4 years of experience communicating with multiple levels such as executive leadership team, peers, managers, and junior staff
Desirable
- Masters Degree or MBA
- Experience managing multiple deadlines, strategic and operationally complex operations with functional teams
- Experience working with sales or sales teams at high-growth technology customer, with an understanding of the advertising ecosystem
- Ability to think strategically to solve complex problems and drive impact in a fast-paced environment
- Impeccable business judgment with a natural inclination to formulate hypotheses, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques to evaluate solutions

What the job involves
- Program manage quarterly Incentive operations including, driving decision making to launch changes, partner with cross-functional stakeholders on milestones, deadlines, and dependencies across central teams
- Dive into incentive operations to draw learnings, work on improvements, and strive for process excellence
- Develop consistent governance and communications strategy for incentives across cross-functional stakeholders
- Provide reporting insight into global performance across regions
- Launch and land changes to sellers at scale by creating and adapting sales communications and training with empathy and care
- You will be leading the deployment strategy to translate and land Google’s product priorities into effective and fair incentives for our Sales teams
- You will do this by leading design, planning, and implementation of Incentives in collaboration with multiple teams
- You will have an opportunity to provide business insights on current performance of Incentives to leadership and Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Executive group
Our take
Google's fast growth since incorporation has triggered a chain of products, acquisitions, and partnerships beyond Google's core search engine product. Despite 80% of revenue coming from advertising services, it's known for continually investing in 'moonshot' projects (like self-driving cars) in an effort to find the next big pillar of the business.
Google recently announced an investment of $9.5bn to expand its offices and data centres in the US. This investment is connected to the company’s ambitious green goal of operating on carbon-free energy full-time by 2030, and will partly focus on setting new standards for green building design.
Following years of rapid hiring, and faced with a broader slowdown of ad spending, the company is being faced by weaker-than-expected revenue. CEO Sundar Pichai has recently announced that Google is reducing its head count by about 12,000 to adapt to global economic conditions. It will move to refocus its talent and capital to the company's highest priorities.
