Who you are
- Minimum of +7 years of relevant experience in developing the people function within a high-growth environment
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Experience in supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives
- Proven track record in leading HR projects related to compensation, people employee relations, employee engagement, retention strategies, etc
- Data-driven orientation and excellent communication skills
- Scale-up experience and international environment are a plus
- Fluent in French and English
- You are a natural bridge-builder and team player
- You are solution-oriented
- You enjoy working in fast-paced and international environments

What the job involves
- To support PlayPlay’s development and our people's growth, we are seeking a Senior People Business Partner
- 60% of the role will focus on leading HR projects to analyse how to improve the People team's efficiency
- We are a people-centric company and are looking for an exceptional individual with an HR generalist background to partner within our People Team
- This role will drive HR programs and initiatives and make a real difference
- You will report directly to our Chief People Officer
- Ensure the implementation and drive our processes and needs: Quarterly/Annual Reviews, Career Path, Performance Calibration, Compensation Cycle, Training, etc
- Create a scalable and efficient People Experience across our offices, enhancing PlayPlayers' experience from onboarding to off-boarding
- Be the HR point of contact for our managers, supporting, mentoring, and coaching them on all their HR topics
- As a culture champion, drive and accelerate a culture of inclusion and excellence where people feel engaged, motivated, and inspired
Our take
Online videos are invaluable to the digital marketing campaigns of businesses, and this relies on content creation from video editing experts. However, hiring such staff can be expensive and work can be slow, showing a gap in the market for video creation tools that require no expertise in video editing that can rapidly turn around content.
PlayPlay provides an online video creation tool for businesses, providing an end-to-end toolkit of drag-and-drop interfaces, stock video libraries, layout templates, automatic subtitling, and other automated editing suggestions. The platform also allows businesses to integrate their branding elements directly into every video created, ensuring each video is customized without the need for manual branding every time.
Whilst video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro dominates the way content creators create videos for businesses, these tools require expertise and experience, and PlayPlay recognized that this results in large expenditure. Through its accessible, end-to-end, and user-friendly approach, the company claims that its video editing tool can help businesses create branded videos faster at a larger scale without expensive staffing requirements.
