What the job involves

PrePO is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to architect, develop, test, and deploy front-end code for novel DeFi applications
Our Frontend Tech Stack:
Core: React, TypeScript, Next.js
Styling: Tailwind CSS, Radix, shadcn
Blockchain: Wagmi, Privy
Tests: Playwright, Vitest w/ React Testing Library
CI/CD: Vercel, GitHub Actions
Tooling: Cursor
Write clean, re-usable, reliable and performant React code
Synchronize smart contract and subgraph data with client-side state
Create functions that write to the blockchain by calling smart contract methods
Extend upon our standard patterns for implementing frontend Web3 functionality
Contribute to high-level decisions about prePO’s front-end architecture
Research new technologies to adopt to improve our product or codebase
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers
Work at an extremely rapid pace with a large amount of ownership and autonomy
All team members will be working directly for the DAO

Our take

Classically, despite private and pre-IPO investments offering lucrative returns, few investors have been able to add them to their portfolios due to gatekeeping by the uber rich. PreStocks (previously PrePO) is a decentralized trading platform that allows all investors to gain access to pre-public assets, democratizing investing in this sector.

PreStocks was founded in 2021 as a pushback against the opaque private market and the barriers to accessing it. Its platform, which is the first of its kind, enables users to invest in pre-IPO stocks and pre-IDO tokens in its synthetic asset markets. Users can exit positions at any time, utilize concentrated liquidity to magnify their yields, and earn passive yield and token rewards to further boost their profits, alongside a host of other options.

Amongst the assets listed on PreStocks’s synthetic markets are companies like SpaceX and Stripe, which can be expected to raise significant interest amongst investors. The company secured impressive funds to accelerate development and expand business reach, with future prospects including PPO staking and gamified staking rewards.
