Role
Who you are
- You will be incredibly detail-oriented, organised and have a great communication skills
- While this isn't a technical data analysis role, you will be handling large volumes of personal information and data from our clients so attention to detail is key along with professionalism and discretion
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to track and monitor documentation processes in an efficient manner
- Enjoys doing administrative tasks
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail with client information
- Ability to work accurately, independently, to strict deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to remain show discretion and confidentiality with client details and information
What the job involves
- The team are looking for team orientated administrative assistant to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the largest Neighbouring Rights administrators in the world
- This is an office-based role which will suit someone who enjoys office culture and being part of the team
- Prepare new client registration documents for societies globally
- Prepare documentation for roster maintenance at the applicable societies
- Maintain internal & external databases to track registrations
- Ensuring all tasks are performed within agreed timelines
- Assisting with repertoire submissions and society claiming where required
- Assisting Society Relations team in any ad hoc projects

It means that artists with The Orchard have more tools in their arsenal to combat the rise of streaming services, which have put independent artists in a difficult position regarding monetisation.
If the company wants to continue providing the best service for independent artists, however, it may need to be more proactive in accommodating new and highly influential trends in music marketing. TikTok, for example, has become a major tool for generating exposure, and many artists are experimenting independently with NFTs. The industry is moving at light speed, and The Orchard may need to pick up its pace to continue attracting independent talent.
