Role
Who you are
- 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Big 4 public accounting firm (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred
- Experience in managing and reviewing multi-state and international payroll
- Subject matter expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience in tax registrations and filings
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with experience analyzing high volume, multi-currency transactions in a global business environment
- Experience in NetSuite preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of staff and management to solve problems and achieve results
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvements
- Strong experience in Airbase, Excel, Brex, Navan, Paylocity, and Google Suite

- This team is as innovative as the company we are building
- Manage month-end close and oversee day-to-day accounting operations (outside of revenue and equity operations and accounting)
- Own accounts payable including vendor payments, company credit cards, and employee reimbursements
- Review journal entries and month-end reconciliations prepared by the Staff Accountant
- Oversee intercompany accounting of our UK and Canadian subsidiaries
- Conduct month-end reporting reviews, variance analysis, and flux analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and support external audit requirements
- Collaborate with HR on processing US payroll and overseeing international payroll
- Manage tax registrations and oversee timely filing of tax returns and payments to ensure the Company remains in good standing in each jurisdiction
- Develop and streamline processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability
- Assist in and/or lead ad hoc projects and analyses, as necessary
