Role
Who you are
- You have 4+ years of experience in strategy, business or product analytics
- You’ll bring a strong proficiency in creating forecasting models and ROI calculations
- You’re highly proficient in SQL and statistical analysis, with solid skills in Python and its analytical packages
- You are experienced in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and have a fundamental understanding of data platforms
- You have proven experience in designing and maintaining KPI frameworks, including harmonization and tracking
- You are eager to help your team and business partners
- You value solving challenges and enjoy collaborating with others to find creative solutions
- You excel at converting complex business questions into specific requirements, relevant metrics and important insights to give clear and actionable recommendations based on data
- You can effectively wield the pareto principle, slice big projects into smaller pieces and make your work and progress transparent
- You can easily connect and collaborate with a diverse set of people across levels and backgrounds

What the job involves
- You will work closely with the strategy and finance functions, reporting directly to the Head of Overarching and Functional Analytics
- Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with Kleinanzeigen leadership, strategy, and finance teams to identify risks, seize opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations
- Perform Strategic Analysis: Use your expertise in statistics and advanced analytics to uncover new insights from our vast amounts of data that shape our future direction
- Forecast and Track Performance: Develop and refine forecasting models and monitor high-level company performance, to steer our company to our goals
- Shape KPIs: Design and refine metrics to ensure they reflect our goals and lead to informed decision-making

Adevinta Spain is part of the global Adevinta family, which is publicly listed in its native Norway. The company as a whole is one of the world’s largest classified marketplace companies, boasting a portfolio of around 50 brands in over a dozen countries, and employing close to 10,000 people.
The Spanish arm owns a number of the country's top digital classifieds marketplaces including Fotocasa, InfoJobs, and Milanuncios. At a time when larger companies are acquiring scores of eCommerce startups – a concept dubbed “eCommerce rollups” – it’s really interesting that Adevinta seems to have made quite the head start.
Indeed the fact that Adevinta isn’t going after D2C brands, but the marketplaces themselves, is clever. Considering that well over $2 trillion is spent annually on online marketplaces, Adevinta Spain (as well as Adevinta as a whole) is operating from a position of strength in an extremely lucrative market, especially since a buyout by Blackstone and Permira in November 2023 was initiated. This will further bolster Adevinta's position as a market leader under strong new ownerhsip.
