Who you are

- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems, including user management and basic system administration
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Interest in security best practices, such as patch management, endpoint protection, and access control
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to research and learn new technologies
- Experience with IT automation (PowerShell, Bash, or scripting tools)
What the job involves
- Merge is looking for a driven IT Support Engineer to grow their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in IT and security operations
- You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while also getting exposure to security-related tasks such as access management, endpoint security, and vulnerability assessments
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support for endpoints (Windows, macOS), office AV systems, and networking issues to ensure seamless operations
- Patch Management: Assist in tracking, testing, and deploying software and OS updates to maintain system security and performance
- MDM Management: Help manage and enforce policies for company devices through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform
- IT Automation: Identify repetitive IT tasks and help automate them to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Endpoint Security: Assist with managing security tools such as endpoint protection, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning solutions

Merge API helps B2B companies navigate the increasing number of APIs needed to integrate SaaS products. Its unified API provides access to dozens of payroll, recruiting, accounting, and HR platforms using a single integration layer. It also offers integration management tools. Together, these features are designed to help businesses work with a large number of APIs without compromising on efficiency.
Merge was founded in 2020 and has already built a large client base for itself, including Deed, AngelList, Ramp and Reachdesk. It has also expanded into new areas, providing support for CRM tools, ticketing systems and project management functions.
After increasing annual revenue by over 30 times in 2022, Merge raised investment funds in a Series B round led by Accel. The company is utilizing this influx of funding to hire additional talent and build out its product into new verticals such as an on-premises offering for enterprises.
