Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of proven experience in software development using an Object-oriented Language
- Experience in Object-oriented UML modeling skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Application Development and cloud services is a plus
- Familiarity with JavaScript and web development is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer III at Workday, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the interface between our UI client and the Java server-side components for our cloud applications
- You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using object-oriented technologies
- Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres to software development best practices
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, designers to deliver software that meets customer needs
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Debug and solve issues as they arise in production environments
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in server-side development and apply them to improve our products
