Who you are

4+ years of experience designing web-based products
2+ years of professional experience in SaaS product design
Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma or similar
Experience in working with design systems
Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
User-centric, data-driven mindset and clear orientation to goals through iterative design
Excellent English communication skills

What the job involves

Design intuitive and practical solutions that meet users’ needs and business objectives
Synthesize abstract ideas into concrete user experience and design implications - translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Identify and address user journey bottlenecks and friction points, and suggest UX improvements
Work with design system (we use Figma) - make use of available design components for quick prototyping, as well as refine and extend patterns and interactions
Use product analytics and user insights to make data-driven design decisions and validate implemented solutions
Collaborate closely with other product and engineering team members

Our take

Teams that work with machine learning models often struggle coordinating their activities, and it can be hard to make the exact datasets being used, code versions, hardware and other metadata match up. This leaves quite a mess for teams which needs to be manually untangled if a bug arises.

Neptune.ai hopes to bring the same tools to machine learning as are used by most software development teams in other fields. It provides a collaborative platform which includes tools for data observability and orchestration. It's also the central source of truth for all machine learning metadata used by a company, which makes locating and fixing issues far easier for engineers. This has been seized on with alacrity by numerous machine learning teams: over 30,000 engineers in around 500 teams have logged millions of hours on the platform since its founding.

Neptune has raised a significant amount of funding which is being used to further develop the platform, as well as to build out more integrations within the machine learning development ecosystem. It is also hiring extensively as it aims to scale its operations with the goal of becoming the machine learning operations standard for data scientists and engineers worldwide.
