Frontend Engineer, Doodle

• 6+ years building production web applications; 5+ years with React + TypeScript
• Contentful (or similar headless CMS) power-user
• Proven MarTech engineering: Ownership on CMS, campaign pages, marketing-automation platforms, analytics (GA4/Amplitude/Looker), email-template systems
• Expert in Web Performance Optimization & Core Web Vitals; CWV-oriented CI gating experience
• Solid grasp of SEO, schema markup, accessibility, mobile-first, and modern testing stacks (Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Lighthouse CI)
• Data-driven, agile mindset; fluent English; clear communicator with non-technical partners

• Own the web experience that powers Doodle's growth engine. You'll focus on marketing technology (MarTech)—high-velocity landing-page frameworks, sophisticated automation flows, and LLM-powered personalization—and lifecycle automation & customer messaging (Intercom)—event-driven drip journeys, personalized onboarding, and retention campaigns
• Your mission is to deliver blazingly fast, conversion-driven user journeys while lifting revenue and engagement KPIs
• MarTech Conversion Engine – Launch, iterate, and scale landing pages, funnels, and campaign components that boost sign-ups, bookings, and ARR/MRR; implement LLM-driven personalization and robust analytics instrumentation
• Lifecycle Automation & Intercom Excellence – Design, implement, and optimize automated lifecycle journeys (email, in-app, push) via Intercom APIs, webhooks, and custom event tracking
• Web Performance Leadership – Continually improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP/FID, CLS, TTFB, FCP, TBT, TTI) and enforce performance budgets in CI/CD
• Quality & Mentorship – Foster a culture of clean architecture, rigorous testing, and continuous improvement; coach peers in modern front-end and marketing-engineering practices
• Consent Management & CMP Implementation – Drive the implementation and optimization of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs); ensure accurate signal transmission, user-friendly design, and compliance with privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), following directives from Legal and Security teams
• Architect event-driven user-lifecycle frameworks: capture client-side events, sync to Intercom, trigger personalized drip campaigns, track outcomes
• Build reusable, CMS landing-page templates and funnel components that Marketing can launch without code changes
• Implement & monitor A/B tests (GTM dataLayer + custom SDK) for both lifecycle messaging and on-site UX experiments
• Integrate LLM features (copy generation, GPT-driven chat flows, semantic page search) responsibly and securely
• Optimize code-splitting, hydration/SSR, asset pipelines, and critical-path CSS/JS for speed at scale
• Partner closely with Marketing Ops, Design, Data, and Backend to translate growth goals into elegant technical solutions
• Implement and maintain Consent Management Platforms (CMPs); ensure compliant signal handling and UX based on directives from Legal and Security teams
