5+ years of experience in Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI
Familiarity with CoreData, Combine, Swift Concurrency
A published app in the app store is a preferred
Experience with GraphQL development is a plus

What the job involves

A critical area for ezCater’s growth over the coming years will be developing a first class native apps experience for our users that meets the needs of our customers, restaurant partners and 3rd party delivery partners
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS engineer to join our mobile development team
As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to shape our technical strategy and help to build out new features and applications in the ezCater native apps ecosystem
Support the suite of ezCater apps including the customer marketplace and restaurant order management apps
Collaborate directly with Design, Product, and Customer Research to develop additional iOS app features for our customers and catering partners
Work with backend developers to create solid interfaces that serve the needs of our native applications
Help to build a robust mobile team

Our take

ezCater is an online marketplace app that provides catering options for businesses, working with food providers who enter their menus onto the app for customers to browse. ezCater sends each store its orders and handles customer service whilst the food providers fulfill the orders.

ezCater profits by charging a small commission on all orders that restaurants fulfill. The company counts JLL, RingCentral and the San Francisco 49ers among its customers. It previously fuelled expansion through acquisitions such as online catering platform GoCater in 2018 and MonkeySoft Solutions in 2019.

ezCater has enjoyed strong growth so far, in part by focusing on meal deliveries to a growing hybrid workforce as an employee benefit. It has been eyeing an IPO for some time, though these plans are yet to come to fruition. In the meantime, it has continued to develop its technology and unveiled a new supplier diversity program to uplift small businesses owned by underrepresented groups.
