Who you are
- Hi! My name is Max and I'm the CEO at Boxhub. I'm looking for a passionate and motivated Admin Assistant & Office Manager to take on a multifaceted role, supporting us in making Boxhub a great workplace, fostering a welcoming ambiance, and supporting our executive operations
- You’re experienced in office administration and coordination; you’ve helped an office run smoothly and jumped into supporting the team and collaborating cross-functionally
- You've supported a leader in managing their time and know how to uncover priorities

What the job involves
- Overall management and coordination of administrative tasks across the organization, overseeing our exciting office space, and providing a great experience for our team
- Managing the CEO's calendar and schedule, with an aim to optimize scheduling and understanding priorities
- Providing a top-tier guest experience for our investors, interviewees, and other guests who need welcoming, covering reception when needed
- Establishing and managing supplier relationships for office supplies, food and snacks, cleaners, repairs and couriers etc
- Assisting in events coordination, from coordinating team offsites to in-office socials and industry events
- Organizing the office space and optimizing storage, keeping the space clean and tidy and developing documentation on where employees can find what they need
- Performing ad hoc admin tasks for C-suite and business leaders whenever they need your support, such as booking travel, helping with presentations, catering for guests etc
Our take
Boxhub was founded with a relatively simple-sounding purpose - to make it easier for people to find and purchase shipping containers. Through the platform, users can easily source the right container for their use (be that storage, housing, shipping, or moving house), and purchase it online to be delivered where they need it.
The market for shipping containers is on the rise for a number of reasons; such as the increase in trade agreements facilitating more shipping, and an appetite for using them to build lower-cost customized homes. Boxhub has hence established itself at a great time, with a wealth of demand for access to shipping containers that is only predicted to rise.
