At least 4 years of experience in credit risk analysis, with a focus on consumer lending
Expertise in analysing underwriting performance and contributing to model refinements
Proficiency in building models using statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, or similar)
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
Familiarity with tools such as BigQuery, DBT, and open banking platforms is an advantage
Experience in counterparty risk analysis is a plus
Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects

What the job involves

We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in managing and optimising credit risk strategies for our lending operations
The successful candidate will focus on analysing and improving consumer underwriting performance in unsecured lending while also monitoring counterparty risk
The analysis will drive improvements to credit assessments
As part of our data and risk team, you’ll be responsible for providing actionable insights to shape credit decisioning, monitoring macro risk trends, and supporting the wider business with expert analysis
You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to ensure data-driven decisions and continuously improve risk strategies
