What the job involves
- We are seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to join our team and help businesses of all sizes discover, use, and grow with Webflow
- You will elevate and launch intuitive experiences that highlight the platform's value, enabling seamless adoption of powerful features
- Your role involves collaborating across teams to strategize, explore, validate, and build solutions that enhance Webflow's platform
- This entails a deep dive into data, user funnels, and building flows and tools that cater to diverse team sizes and roles
- You’ll also be responsible for creating the systems and best practices that enable all product teams to scale a cohesive experience that builds user trust
- Reporting to the Director of Product Design
- Lead ambitious, strategic design initiatives focused on user activation, expansion, and monetization across Webflow’s WXP platform, leveraging deep user empathy and market insights, AI developments, and thoughtful experimentation
- Own and articulate a compelling vision for intuitive and delightful experiences that streamline onboarding, boost adoption, improve conversion rates, and maximize customer lifetime value, especially targeting growth-focused customer segments and Enterprise
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, Sales, and Data to shape cohesive strategic roadmaps, ensure effective go-to-market execution, and foster alignment across complex, cross-team initiatives
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate innovative concepts to validate hypotheses, clarify strategic directions, build team alignment, and maintain momentum towards delivering exceptional, user-centered experiences
- Elevate the overall quality, consistency, and trustworthiness of Webflow’s growth and monetization touchpoints by establishing design standards, mentoring fellow designers, and continuously evolving Webflow’s design systems and user experience practices
- Act as an influential thought leader, internally and externally, informed by qualitative and quantitative user research, competitor strategies, and emerging trends and technologies in B2B SaaS, AI-driven growth design, and monetization
- In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role

Our take
No-code development systems allow users to create and publish the kind of output that was once only possible with the help of a team of developers. Webflow is one such platform that allows non-developers to create professional websites without knowing any code. It joins others such as Pantheon, Weebly, Squarespace, and Wix in a hotly-contested low-code development market. While competition is high, so too is demand, with low-code platforms accounting for more than 65% of application development activity in 2024.
The popularity of platforms such as Webflow is perhaps not surprising, as low-code development is usually cheaper for companies to implement and reduces time to market. Webflow has been used by over 3.5 million designers and teams to create sites for companies including enterprise brands such as Dell, Rakuten, UpWork, and Petal. It raised a large amount of funding in a Series C round in 2022. This is being used to further develop its platform, with a longer-term goal of pivoting to providing a no-code tool not only for websites, but software development as well.
