Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially focused on SMBs
- Proven track record in developing and managing high-impact relationships or strategic business development initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at the senior level
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver data-driven recommendations

What the job involves
- The Associate Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and business opportunities within our marketplace
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketplace growth, optimize revenue channels, and integrate new partners seamlessly
- Your strategic vision and marketplace expertise will be pivotal in shaping Mirakl's marketplace strategy and driving business success
- Identify and develop new strategic partnerships with vendors and partners to accelerate marketplace growth
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring optimal outcomes for both Mirakl and its partners
- Drive key initiatives that enhance marketplace functionality and seller experience
- Provide expert guidance on the Mirakl platform’s capabilities to ensure best use and value for clients and partners
- Develop a deep understanding of client and seller needs, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketplace performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketplace strategy with overall business objectives, ensuring cross-functional success
- Regularly report on performance metrics, tracking growth opportunities and suggesting strategic adjustments to ensure continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your expertise to influence marketplace strategies and outcomes
- Continuously stay updated on market trends, competitive landscapes, and best practices to refine Mirakl’s business development approach
Our take
Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this : if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.
Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 400 companies develop new marketplaces to drive adoption of their products. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises including Best Buy Canada, Carrefour and Office Depot – as well as industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.
Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding. Investment has been used to grow its engineering and customer success teams, enabling product development and a broader reach. With solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market moving forwards.
