Who you are
- If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and have a proven track record of building strong pipelines for technical roles, we would like to speak with you
- 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, including full lifecycle recruiting for software engineering roles
- A strong mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience is preferred
- Proven success in recruiting Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers, and other related technical roles
- Expertise in advanced sourcing methods (Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, etc.)
- Experience leveraging AI in your daily work, especially for passive sourcing and delivering insightful screening feedback to your hiring teams
- Ability to balance candidate expectations with business needs and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to recruit for other technical or non-technical roles as needed
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
What the job involves
- Roku is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to drive hiring for our Devices, Product, and Technology teams across North & South America
- This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing and engagement to offer negotiation—while partnering closely with hiring leaders to deliver exceptional talent
- Own Full-Desk Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing
- Strategic Talent Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, talent strategies, and data-driven recommendations
- Deep Sourcing Expertise: Build and maintain strong pipelines using advanced sourcing techniques—Boolean search, social media, niche platforms, and direct outreach sourcing techniques
- Candidate Experience Champion: Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and personalized engagement
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and talent availability to inform recruiting strategies
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance recruiting workflows and establish scalable best practices that benefit the entire team

Roku provides an integrated streaming service that offers TV channels, movies and third-party streaming services, resulting in an all-in-one streaming platform. The service can be accessed through a variety of customized subscription packages and fees.
Roku stands out in the streaming industry by bringing many competitors together in one package. The startup provides further innovative services such as a weekly TV series named 'Roku Recommends' which uses first-party data to recommend essential viewing to users. Alongside funding filmmakers through its "Change Makers Program", Roku also acquired its own original library of shows through its acquisition of now-defunct Quibi's library in 2021. After successful collaborations with TCL and Hisense, the first in-house "Roku Television" was released in 2023, further exemplifying the streaming company's wider ambitions in the media sector.
