What the job involves
- We’re adding a Customer Success Manager to our team to help us build out and oversee a team of Analysts and Associates
- This is a leadership role that involves taking responsibility for the performance and well-being of a team
- You will consolidate feedback from the team and prioritize initiatives to grow the individual’s and team’s overall performance
- You will also take charge of the administrative needs of the team including payroll and scheduling, and will ensure that you are well staffed and well equipped to handle any fluctuations in deal volume
- You will also provide additional training and career development, all the while ensuring that promising talent is promptly identified
- Report to the Director of Customer Success, serving as the point of contact for the overall performance of the team
- Receive feedback and suggestions from direct reports and work with the Underwriting Operations team to prioritize team initiatives
- Making hiring decisions, scheduling for your team, and process payroll
- Identify and groom promising talent on the team
- Ensure that all members of the team are fully trained and up to date on all company initiatives
- Train a team of trainers to assist with new hire and other ad hoc training
- Administer Performance Improvement Plans when necessary to guide your team to perform up to standard
Our take
Home rental rates across the US are soaring. On average, rent went up by over 10% in a single year between 2021 and 2022, while in some cities that increase is as much as 40%. Renters are now struggling more than ever to qualify for homes and afford security deposits, which also impacts landlords who lack security.
TheGuarantors, which is a licensed insurance agent and broker bridges this gap by acting as a co-signer, then offering to cover and underwrite security deposits if necessary in exchange for a percentage fee of the monthly rent.
There’s been a lot of movement in the rental startups space of late, with venture capital being poured into companies like rent-to-own Divvy and rent now, pay later startup Jetty
TheGuarantors however, has seen immense user uptake on its platform and has recently won the capital backing of Portage Venture, which it intends to use to scale both its product offering and staff headcount.
