Who you are

An ideal candidate would have 7+ years’ experience in the Clojure programming language, familiarity with Identity Access Management, as well as an advanced understanding of building 99.999 reliability in an AWS cloud environment
7+ years experience
Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience in Clojure or other LISP based language
Ability to create written documentation describing complex systems and interactions with existing components
Understanding of modern IAM constructs such as ABAC, RBAC, Federation / SSO, OpenId Connect, and authoring access policies
Experience building 99.999 reliability in an AWS environment
Ability to craft CI/CD workflows and deployments in Github
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders as they migrate to the new platform solutions
Customer focused with the ability to design systems and software increments which satisfy specific customer use cases

What the job involves

This position entails the development of greenfield platform services which authenticate and authorize provisioning APIs used for enabling various Equinix technology streams
Collaborate on the design of a new IAM solution which integrates and coordinates with existing legacy systems to provide a seamless customer migration
Create reliable deployment topologies and software designs which satisfies the 99.999 needs of our customers and application partners
Focus on quality, with an emphasis on building solid unit tests
Act as reliable point of contact for periodic SRE duties with experience tracking failures across multiple cloud components
