Minimum 2 years of demonstrated high-performance sales experience, ideally in AI, SaaS, medtech. Experience in oncology and diagnostics is a bonus

What the job involves

Aggressively drive sales growth and market penetration of Ataraxis oncology products through direct sales to individual oncologists within your designated territory
Prospecting new business and maintaining relationships
Applying SaaS-style sales processes to a traditional clinical diagnostics/oncology space

Our take

When treating patients with cancer, a critical issue is varied progression rates. Some cancers are aggressive while others are slow growing, making it difficult to decide the best treatment plan and avoid unnecessary treatments. Ataraxis AI is tackling this problem, beginning with breast cancer.

The company has developed an AI-powered diagnostic tool called Ataraxis Breast, which assesses whether a breast cancer is high or low risk. A recent study suggests that the company's system is up to 30% more accurate than the current standard. This allows doctors to make more informed decisions, taking the predicted progression into account.

Founded in 2023, the company is already making impressive strides, emerging from stealth in 2024 and more recently closing a Series A funding round. Now with extra capital behind it, the company hopes to influence half of all new cancer cases by 2030.
