Who you are
- Over 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a tooling or data-centric environment
- Data-curious and technically inquisitive, instinctively digging into product data, flows, and artifacts to uncover patterns, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to solve complex, end-to-end design challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- As a Product Designer for Data Products Pillar, you will be at the forefront of shaping how our customers interact with complex sets of data.
- Your role will involve driving a cohesive vision for how users verify, contextualize, enrich, and manage data across our platform.
- This is not just about creating beautiful interfaces; it’s about crafting intuitive experiences that make data accessible and actionable
- Design Stewardship: Lead the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that our data products are user-friendly and visually compelling
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on product vision and deliver seamless user experiences
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of builders
- Data Visualization: Create innovative ways to visualize complex data sets, making them easier to understand and interact with for our users
- Prototyping and Iteration: Develop prototypes and iterate on designs based on feedback and testing, maintaining a user-centered approach throughout the design process
- Strategic Thinking: Apply analytical systems thinking to tackle product complexity and contribute to the overall product strategy

Businesses and governmental organizations can access Persona’s platform via an API, which supports various documents from government-issued IDs to biometrics, ensuring customers are who they claim to be. Persona’s platform also collects passive signals such as a user’s device, location, and behavioral patterns to provide a more holistic risk profile, beneficial in financial and insurance contexts
Recently, Persona partnered with Member Driven Technologies (MDT) to enhance identity verification for credit unions. This partnership enables credit unions to adjust their identity verification flows in real-time based on risk signals, improving user conversion and fraud deterrence. The collaboration aims to streamline operations and strengthen fraud prevention, both digitally and in branches. Since founding, Persona has been scaling its offerings and now boasts a worldwide presence, serving clients in nearly every country and supporting 20 languages.
