Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who cares about people, AI, and protecting the creative industries and who likes to move fast
- Optimism and curiosity about the future of Artificial Intelligence and passion for helping creators and rights holders receive fair compensation for their work
- Up to 5 years of Business Development, Go-To-Market or Partnerships experience. A proven developing partnership with large enterprises
- A natural people person who can quickly build close relationships with new contacts. You feel confident operating at C-level, inspiring trust and creating influence with data owners and key stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships with executives and professionals across functions and are able to negotiate effectively and confidently
- Ambition that you want to be at the forefront of the company’s partnerships strategy, leading the way on some of our most critical projects
- You can analyse data quickly, cut through complexity and find answers rapidly
- A strong written and verbal communicator and can adapt your communication style and the level of detail to your audience
- Strive for excellence in every aspect of work, consistently taking ownership of your results and delivering measurable impact
- A humble attitude, energetic personality and are eager to learn whatever it might take given the speed of evolution in AI technologies and the landscape surrounding them
- Can handle a wide variety of matters, in a fast-paced startup environment with a large amount of ambiguity
- Process-oriented, organised, and able to work well in unstructured environments
- Excel at deeply understanding the customer’s needs, priorities, and help them achieve their business goals through our platform
- Bonus: Strong AI/Tech or Media network
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
What the job involves
- At Human Native AI we're looking for a candidate to help establish an ecosystem of Data Providers and AI companies
- We help rights holders get a fair deal for this content, indexing, benchmarking, and evaluating datasets to demonstrate their quality and value
- We give them granular control over what use cases their work is licensed for and at what price
- We recognise the challenge of this mission and know that only a strong cohesive team can fulfil it

- As an early team member you will be a key part of establishing our partnerships ecosystem, our operations and our culture for years to come
- This role is based either at in person in San Francisco Bay Area as a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the office, or remote within the United States
- Execute our Partnership strategy to expand our catalogue of high-quality data from a diverse set of top publishers, rights holders and creators
- Establish and maintain a strong partnership with partners, collaborating closely with their team to understand their business needs, identify opportunities and drive joint initiatives
- Foster critical relationships at high-level within partners and showcase Human Native AI’s technology to potential customers. Effectively gain access to and commitment from decision makers (eg. C-level executives)
- Target Partners in high value segments to help us acquire and enable new data sets to be licenced through our platform
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and legal teams to optimise our operations, develop solutions and effectively support our key partners
- Effectively negotiate, prioritise, and otherwise manage commercial transactions with customers and partners, working closely with our Chief Executive Officer
- Define, track, and analyse performance against specific measures of success, providing tangible progress updates via reports and trackers
- You will contribute to the long-term direction of our company, making sure that we are developing the partnership capabilities that will allow us to stay ahead of the challenges we are likely to encounter in 6-12 months' time
- Closely monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners, etc.) to contribute to product roadmap and other corporate strategies
Our take
The UK government recently abandoned plans for an industry-led AI copyright code of practice and is now focusing on achieving greater transparency in data usage by AI developers, while continuing to engage with stakeholders to find a non-statutory solution. Human Native AI is contributing to this space with it's fair and equitable AI data marketplace, connecting rights holders and AI developers to ensure responsible data use and fair compensation.
The platform offers a comprehensive catalog of high-quality, licensed content, enabling AI developers to access and utilise premium data responsibly. What sets Human Native AI apart is the commitment to both high data quality and the rights of content creators. Rights holders have granular control over the use of their works and receive fair compensation through licensing agreements, revenue sharing, or subscriptions.
The company has already raised £2.8 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe and Mercuri, highlighting the support for its innovation. Moving forward, Human Native AI plans to expand the team, develop the product further, and establish new partnerships. It will be interesting to see how the company's journey develops as it fosters a sustainable and fair ecosystem for AI data.
