What the job involves
- Thanks to your contribution, Wecasa will increase its area coverage from Berlin to Munich and beyond
- You’ll share Wecasa’s magic with home cleaners coming from a wide variety of professional and personal backgrounds
- You’ll contribute to building a professional network based on strong values like trust, kindness, and the willingness to succeed
- As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in Wecasa's expansion by:
- Sourcing, identifying, and recruiting the best independent professionals in new geographical areas
- Collaborating with the team to implement tailored strategies for each market
- Supporting and guiding new partners to ensure their successful integration into the Wecasa network
- Good news: we’re not here to sell meaningless products to people who don’t need them. No. We empower talented individuals to thrive in a fulfilling activity that brings immense satisfaction—beautifying homes and caring for what matters most to our clients
- You'll call back leads generated by our acquisition team to reach out to home cleaning professionals
- Qualify candidates over the phone or on video call to identify those with the highest potential
- Convince them of Wecasa’s value proposition compared to competitors (a free-of-charge partnership with real freedom to work)
- Ensure partners share our values and meet our quality standards
- Carry out all necessary administrative checks (right to work, police record, etc.)
- Follow up with professionals a few weeks after validation to ensure a smooth start to the partnership
- You'll be among the first members of the DACH team and will have the opportunity of working on onboarding processes with your manager, Nils, and will get exposure to senior management
- Team rituals :
- Weekly meetings with the team to share progress and stay updated on critical issues
- Weekly 1-1 with your manager
- Monthly half-day sales training sessions to deepen your knowledge and improve your skill set

The global wellness market has exploded in recent years, with McKinsey estimating it to be worth $1.5 trillion. Not only this, growth shows no signs of slowing down, with annual growth recorded as high as 10%. Opportunities for companies in this sector have, therefore, never been higher.
Treatments like massages, facials, and hair make up a sizeable chunk of this market, but in recent years the traditional brick-and-mortar salon model has struggled greatly. Providers are increasingly finding that consumer habits have shifted, with many consumers now demanding treatments that fit around more busy lifestyles and a growing work-from-home culture.
Wecasa offers a solution to this. Its platform is essentially a marketplace for local hair, beauty, massage, and cleaning professionals, all of whom offer at-home treatments for Wecasa's customers.
By taking advantage of this rising trend, it's no surprise that Wecasa has seen impressive growth since its founding in 2015, and as a result, the company has received considerable funding, Wecasa is now targeting expansion, both in its current French and UK markets, and then into entirely new European countries.
