Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Supply Chain Management
- A customer-first mindset with proven success in building positive relationships
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, and Git or equivalent version control tools
- Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical debugging
- A data-oriented approach, with skills in data visualization or presentation
- Previous experience deploying and integrating systems into logistics, healthcare, or manufacturing industry
- Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team
- Willingness to travel (90-100%) for on-site deployments

Desirable
- Experience with ROS or similar robotic operating systems
- Comprehensive understanding of both hardware and software in complex robotic systems
- Basic networking skills, including familiarity with WiFi and VPN
- Ability to leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reliability
- Skilled in creating detailed operational workflows, training materials, and documentation
- Prior experience in managing deployment programs or deploying robotic systems, with strong project management skills
- Experience working with and configuring JIRA
- Innovative problem-solving skills, with a history of streamlining deployment processes

- Deliver exceptional deployment support and elevate the customer experience
- Lead onsite hardware and software testing to ensure optimal cobot performance
- Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues to enhance system reliability, and user experience
- Perform parts replacements and robot retrofits to maintain high operational standards
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships grounded in trust, reliability and mutual success
- Prepare sites for deployment through readiness assessments, checklists, and testing
- Create clear operational and technical documentation to build a foundation for excellence
- Partner with Program Manager to drive consistent communication and project progress
Our take
Cobot is a robotics manufacturer setting out to incorporate robots into our everyday lives, having them work alongside us in all walks of life. It is building a collaborative robot named "Proxie", which was built to create synergy between humans and robots.
Collaborative robots are expected to account for about 10% of total industrial robot sales by 2025, so Cobot's target could certainly be a lucrative one. Founded in 2022, the company has already caught attention for its Flywheel Program, which delivers hands-on experience with robotics deployments for its clients' teams.
The company is initially looking to target sectors such as bio-tech, logistics, healthcare and manufacturing and it’ll be exciting to see how this grows as the company scales. It’s still early days for Cobot, and though all the talk behind the project is thrilling, we will have to wait to see if its Proxie product lives up to both ambitions and its impressive funding rounds.
