Role
Who you are
- This role requires a strategic mindset, strong technical leadership, and the ability to navigate complex business processes
- By driving innovation and optimization within our technology systems and processes, you will contribute significantly to the success and growth of our organization
- 5+ years of experience in managing technology portfolios, preferably within Business Technology or similar environment
- In-depth knowledge of Go-To-Market processes and tools, with the ability to drive initiatives that align technology solutions with business goals
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, with familiarity in Six Sigma principles as a plus, and a proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Strong ability to engage with executive stakeholders, communicate effectively, and drive alignment on strategic objectives
- A solid understanding of business systems architecture and the ability to oversee the design and optimization of scalable technology solutions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and drive results in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
What the job involves
- As a key member of our Business Technology organization, the Technical Product Manager (TPM) will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through portfolio management, Agile and Six Sigma adoption, and executive stakeholder communication
- Your primary responsibility will be to oversee portfolio management within our technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
- You will lead the adoption of Agile methodologies across projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency
- Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities effectively, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives

- This role involves collaborating with teams in both San Francisco and Amsterdam

Our take
Millions of employees worldwide have moved to remote working, but existing tools are holding back the potential for collaboration. Tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams already provide remote communication platforms to millions of users, but they generally compromise on features required to emulate the team collaboration experience.
Miro has created a platform that provides enterprise tools such as collaborative whiteboards and mind-map software into an accessible and integrated service. As opposed to providing an 'all-in-one' add on, Miro allows businesses to customize and integrate the tools and resources within their individual platform to cater to the team's specific requirements.
Miro’s initial strategy of offering free and discounted subscriptions and then moving to paid models has paid off. The platform currently has over 100M users and is trusted by enterprises such as VMware, Zendesk and Frog. And as part of its ongoing battle with Zoom, Miro acquired video-chat startup Around in 2022, to remain competitive in the market.
