Role
Who you are
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams, both verbally and in writing
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions architect, or infrastructure engineering role
- Strong technical understanding of GPU computing infrastructure, virtualization, cloud platforms, and data center architecture
- Experience with telecommunications networks, edge computing, or cloud infrastructure environments is highly desirable
- Experience designing server, storage, networking, and GPU-based compute solutions
- Strong understanding of infrastructure sizing, BOM development, and solution costing
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, global startup environment
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads, cloud gaming infrastructure, or GPU-accelerated applications is a plus
- Experience working with telecom operators, data center operators, or cloud service providers is a plus

- Radian Arc, now part of InferX, Submer's AI cloud and GPU infrastructure platform, provides an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform for running cloud gaming, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications inside telecommunication carrier networks
- Our teams across the USA, Australia, Central Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan offer telecom operators a GPU-based edge computing platform without the need for capital expenditure, facilitating low latency and improved economics for value-added services and the monetization of 5G investments
- We are looking for a self-motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team
- You will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle, helping evaluate customer requirements, designing solution architectures, and assisting with bill-of-materials (BOM) development, quotes, and technical proposals for GPUaaS, AI workloads and Cloud Gaming deployments
- You will work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions meet both technical and commercial requirements
- You will also engage directly with telecom operators, partners, and customers to validate technical feasibility and support successful deployment planning
- Sales Technical Support: Partner with the sales team during the pre-sales cycle to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions for GPUaaS, Cloud Gaming, AI workloads and edge compute deployments
- Solution Architecture: Design and validate solution architectures including GPU infrastructure, networking, storage, orchestration, and platform integration within telecom operator environments
- Technical Qualification: Evaluate customer infrastructure, technical constraints, and deployment scenarios to determine feasibility and ensure alignment with Radian Arc’s platform capabilities
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Development: Develop and validate detailed BOMs for infrastructure deployments including GPU servers, networking, storage, and supporting components
- Proposal & Quotation Support: Work with sales and finance teams to prepare technical proposals, solution documentation, pricing inputs, and quotes for customer opportunities
- Customer Technical Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and discovery sessions to present Radian Arc’s platform capabilities and answer technical questions
- Partner and Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with technology partners and hardware vendors to ensure accurate configurations, pricing, and solution compatibility
- Sales Operations Support: Assist in preparing technical documentation required for proposals, contracts, and order processing including system diagrams, architecture overviews, and deployment requirements
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with operational capabilities and deployment timelines
- Continuous Improvement: Help refine internal tools, templates, and processes for solution design, quoting, and sales engineering workflows
Our take
Developments in the AI sector have increased the strain on data centres and chips, generating more heat from their processes than ever before. Cooling methods using air and water are not keeping pace with the amount of energy needed to support AI. Submer is on a mission to build data centres and processing plants that are as sustainable as they are efficient.
Submer’s eco-friendly product for data centres and chip processing is built from a coolant of non-flammable, biodegradable and synthetic liquid that physically acts in the same way as water. The racks for servers are stored and operate from within a smart container which further lessens the heat produced by data centres. Submer’s range of products even allows for the coolant to be reused via a heat exchanger.
It’s an inspired solution for an increasingly pressing problem. Data centres are going nowhere, yet the vital need for greener energy solutions puts pressure on these industries. It’s unsurprising then that Submer has raised considerable funding that is being channelled into the expansion of its product. Server component manufacturers are even beginning to build their products to be compatible with Submer’s, indicating the eagerness with which the industry is welcoming the solution.
