Who you are
- Strong operational mindset with demonstrated ability to build and optimize tools and processes
- 2+ years of BDR/SDR experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding outbound pipeline targets
- Experience with modern sales tech stack and automation tools
- Previous experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Data-driven decision making approach

What the job involves
- As the Business Development Lead, you'll be responsible for building and optimizing Mutiny's outbound program infrastructure, with an emphasis on operational excellence and scalable processes
- This role combines operational leadership with hands-on BDR execution, with a clear path to building and leading a team
- Design and implement operational systems and processes to optimize our outbound program efficiency
- Create and maintain scalable workflows across our tech stack (Unify, Clay, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, 6sense)
- Be quota carrying; co-own pipeline creation with the Head of Revenue Marketing
- Upon success of the above, build and manage a team of BDRs as pipeline goals increase
Application process
- Round 1 (45 minutes): You’ll meet with our Head of Revenue Marketing to discuss your success in your previous business development or outbound focused roles and how this role aligns with your career goals
- Round 2 (90 minutes across 2 meetings): You’ll first meet with our Head of Business Development to learn about Mutiny’s existing outbound program and tools to get a sense of the work that needs to be done. After, you’ll meet with some of our AEs and ABM lead to meet more of the team you’d be working with and explore how you’d work together
- Round 3 (60 minutes): After meeting the team, you’ll present a short and long term plan for Mutiny’s outbound program to our Heads of Sales, Business Development and Revenue Marketing

For many businesses, personalizing their messaging and media for multiple audiences can be very extremely difficult, meaning that most advertising spend is wasted. Mutiny solves this problem by giving marketers access to a suite of AI-powered personalization tools, allowing a company to serve thousands of different versions of its website, tailored to each individual visitor based on a user's demographics and market segment.
Mutiny is one among many companies operating in the highly competitive marketing optimization space, including several others that use AI tools such as Constructor and Intellimize. However it is unique in that it provides a self-service function whereas other AI tools offer a slower and less flexible managed service. This has allowed Mutiny to carve out a significant niche in the sector, gaining DropBox, Snowflake and Carta among its growing customer base.
Mutiny raised significant funding in a 2022 Series B round. This capital is being used to onboard talent, doubling the size of the team. It is also investing heavily in its technology to ensure that its AI remains accurate in determining customer preferences. As companies continue to invest more and more into their online marketing spend, Mutiny is in a strong position to continue its rapid growth.
