Journee believes the true joy of travel often comes from moments of spontaneity. Whether it's a discovery of a hidden gem or an exciting excursion, there are lots of different things that make our traveling experiences memorable.
In 2019, UK residents took 72.6 million trips overseas. Each trip made is usually coupled with a lot of time spent browsing through a myriad of companies promising the 'experience of a lifetime'. Travelers book a trip hoping that it will meet their expectations based on reviews from people who all hold their own set of preferences for what makes a trip meaningful.
Journee looks to make its mark in the travel industry by matching users with unique destinations based on their travel personality. After filling in a 15-minute Trip Matchmaker form, the travel experts take care of everything so there's no need to research, plan or book anything. In the run-up to the trip, the travelers will be given clues about where they're going and will only find out where they're going once they've turned up at the airport.
This new approach to traveling is likely to find success with Gen Z due to its spontaneous and stress-free nature. To stay competitive within the travel industry, they will need to continue to provide best-in-class remote problem resolution to help travelers with any issues they run into.
