Who you are
- Junior/Senior/Graduate Student, working towards degree(s) in Accounting and/or Business

What the job involves
- Perform financial operations including, but not limited to, cash, expense management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax compliance
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and document process for month end close
- Support monthly close activities, including revenue and expense
- Participate in the annual financial statement audit, the annual tax return/provision preparation, and sales tax compliance
- Assist with accounting projects and identify process improvements to reduce the monthly-close timeline while enhancing the accuracy of underlying accounting records
- You will play a key role in our business transformation efforts as we scale on a high-growth trajectory and will have the pportunity to work on projects that revamp and modernize the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting cycles
- As a member of the finance team, you will work closely to help to drive the success of Lumafield’s internal and external financial reporting, completing the monthly close, assisting in implementing new systems and processes, internal controls, and accounting policies

Lumafield provides an X-ray CT platform for engineers, helping them gain visibility into the interior details of objects and materials. The platform consists of an easy-to-use hardware scanner supported by cloud-driven analysis software, helping engineers solve challenges at every stage of the product development process.
Whilst product development engineers already have software and hardware tools for optimizing their products, these often neglect the interior intricacies of objects, and Lumafield has been smart to recognize this. By improving the visibility engineers have into the pores, voids, and cracks of design materials, the company helps designers explore new techniques with confidence, minimize expensive molding and casting failures, and stay ahead of quality standards.
