Who you are
- 5+ years experience in account management/client services, program management at an ad tech company, publisher, or media agency
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influential written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly form relationships usually by email or telephone
- An interest to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally; ability to exercise judgment and flexibility in balancing priorities
- A Positive and confident disposition when responding to frequent deadlines for multiple customers (internal and external)
- Collaborative mentality, resourceful, exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
- Analytical, project management, deadline-driven, and process-oriented personality
- Experience with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana
- Familiarity with commercial digital ad serving tools for video and display
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
What the job involves
- The Brand Activation Manager is a strategic partner to Roku’s Clients and the Roku Ad Sales team, and plays a pivotal role in ensuring end-to-end success for advertising partners’ post-sale campaign execution success
- This individual has a passion for project management, building strong customer relationships and collaborating closely with internal Ad Support departments
- This position requires strong communication skills and a high-level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced sales environment
- You will be responsible for campaign production through launch and end of campaign reporting deliverables and improving outputs to clients on our Roku Experience offerings in partnership with sales
- The function includes taking a leadership role in coordinating efforts between other cross-functional teams as necessary and frequently interfaces with Sales and Client Services, AdOps, Design, Product, Marketing, and the Roku Brand Studio
- The Brand Activation Manager will also manage campaign escalations and ensure appropriate resolution, especially on priority Accounts
- A balance of strong project management experience, client first approach and the ability to build strong relationships with partners in the Roku organization will be key to the candidate’s success
- Serve as the lead day-to-day point of contact for Roku’s clients (Ad Agencies and top Fortune 500 advertisers)
- Lead kick off calls and project manage campaign execution across client and internal teams and serve as the liaison between Roku's Design, Ad Ops & Content Teams to ensure seamless production and launch of complex ad campaigns
- Regular and constant communication with clients and internal teams with frequent monitoring of campaigns to ensure they are performing and pacing toward client KPIs
- Well organized and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with AEs to on presenting insights, data and providing thoughtful creative future upsell recommendations, retention strategy for business presentations and QBRs
- Develop a keen understanding of how the Roku platform and unique ad products will deliver brand value in support of the clients advertising goals
- Be key POC for all Client Support groups, specifically Ad Operations to drive efficiencies on internal processes from pitch to launch

Roku provides an integrated streaming service that offers TV channels, movies and third-party streaming services, resulting in an all-in-one streaming platform. The service can be accessed through a variety of customized subscription packages and fees.
Roku stands out in the streaming industry by bringing many competitors together in one package. The startup provides further innovative services such as a weekly TV series named 'Roku Recommends' which uses first-party data to recommend essential viewing to users. Alongside funding filmmakers through its "Change Makers Program", Roku also acquired its own original library of shows through its acquisition of now-defunct Quibi's library in 2021. After successful collaborations with TCL and Hisense, the first in-house "Roku Television" was released in 2023, further exemplifying the streaming company's wider ambitions in the media sector.
