Software Development Engineer in Test Intern, IEX

• Familiarity with financial markets is helpful, but not required

• As a Software Development Engineer in Test Intern with the QA Technology team, you'll work with individuals across the organization to help advance IEX's technology development, exchange product, and regulatory initiatives
• This is a cross-functional opportunity where you'll be able to leverage your technical and problem-solving skills to help IEX set new standards and raise the bar for performance, fairness, and transparency
• As an intern, you'll build and improve tooling to help test the entire IEX exchange platform, learning everything you can about order types, queue priority, and equities execution in general
• Learn how we interact with the IEX Exchange using our existing platform
• Develop dashboards and tooling to help enhance the platform – this will be a full-stack project

• Work closely with the Core Development, Data Engineering, Market Ops, SRE, Business Development, and Regulatory teams to gather requirements and see how they use our platform. If there’s anything we can build to make their jobs easier – let’s do it!
