Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Experience supporting complex sales cycles, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and translating technical solutions into business value
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain APIs, integrations, and cloud-based SaaS solutions
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to diagnose customer challenges and recommend effective solutions
- Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, collaborating across teams and adapting quickly to change
What the job involves
- As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be a critical link between our product, sales, and customers, ensuring that prospects and clients deeply understand the value and functionality of Constrafor’s platform
- You will play a key role in the sales process by demonstrating technical expertise, solving customer challenges, and helping drive revenue growth
- This is an exciting opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy and work cross-functionally in a high-growth startup environment
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective and existing customers, deeply understanding their challenges and mapping our solutions to their needs
- Lead compelling product demonstrations tailored to each customer’s pain points, showing how Constrafor’s platform streamlines workflows
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to provide feedback, shape product development, and optimize technical sales processes
- Respond to RFPs, technical questions, and security requirements, ensuring a smooth sales process and technical alignment
- Develop technical sales materials, including presentations, white papers, and FAQs, to improve sales enablement
- Support proof-of-concept and pilot programs, working hands-on with customers to drive successful onboarding and adoption
- Stay informed about industry trends in fintech, SaaS, and construction tech to provide strategic insights to customers and internal teams
Our take
Large construction projects take a long time to finish, and subcontractors can get caught up in the flow of money, waiting up to 80 days to be paid by general contractors. Such situations not only lead to project delays but also impose the burden of financing their project segments onto subcontractors. However, Constrafor has set out to change this through its SaaS construction procurement platform.
It streamlines information and documentation for how general contractors work with subcontractors and assumes the risk for the subcontractor invoice, freeing up cash flow. The general contractor then reimburses Constrafor for the invoice; its revenue is based on taking in about 2% of the value of the invoice.
Given that construction companies typically allocate less than 1.5% of their revenue to technology investments, Constrafor find itself in substantial demand, It stands out by offering tailored solutions, designed and developed on behalf of these companies. Bolstered by recent funding, secured through a SAFE note, Constrafor is poised to elevate its operations, effectively facilitating crucial functions like payroll management and other pivotal aspects of the construction process.
